    2. The coldest place on Earth is a high ridge in Antarctica where temperatures can go below 93.2°C.
    3. 90% of the world's fresh water is in Antarctica.

    1. In Antarctica 4 people have bought Minecraft.
    2. There are a few parts with no ice but these ice free areas only come up to a percentage of 0.32.
    3. 70% of fresh water ice is in Antarctica, and
    4. 90% of all ice is in Antarctica.
    5. The lowest temperture is in Antarctica- 89.2 celsius (-128.6 farenheit)
    6. The first time someone set foot on Antarctica was 1821.
    7. The normal summer temperture in Antarctica is -17.5 celsius- thats -27.5 farenheit in summer. Summer!
    8. Antarctica was imagined by the ancient greeks. However, it was not seen until 1820.
    9. The 3 highest mountains in Antarctica are:
    Mt Vinson- 4,892 metres. Thats 16,050 feet!!!
    Mt Tyree- 4,852 metres (15,918 feet).
    Mt Shinn- 4661 metres (15,292).
    10. Mt Vinson is sometimes known as "Vinson Massif".

  5. 1.Humans don’t permanently live in Antarctica but several thousand people live and work at research facilities found in Antarctica
    2. Even though Antarctica has harsh living conditions, a number of plants and animals have adapted to survive and called Antarctica home.
    3. Antarctica is 14 million km² long and I don't know how wide.
    4.The highest temperature ever recorded in Antarctica was 17.5 °C (63.5 °F) at Hope Bay, on the Antarctic Peninsula, on 24 March 2015 (it is for awhile...)
    5. Antarctica holds the coldest temperature 89.2 °C (−128.6 °F; 184.0 K), which was at the Soviet Vostok Station in Antarctica, on July 21, 1983 (it's the coldest temperature in the world).
    6. Scientists from all over the world visit Antarctica to study the climate, weather, geology, and wildlife.
    7. Chile has a civilian town in Antarctica, complete with a school, hospital, hostel, post office, Internet, TV and mobile phone coverage.
    8. The ice sheet of Antarctica has been in existence for at least 40 million years.
    9. Australia claims to (it claims it probably might not) own the largest territory in Antarctica: 5.8 million sq km (2.2 million sq mi).
    10. In 1977, Argentina sent a pregnant mother to Antarctica in an effort to claim a portion of the continent. The boy became the first human known to be born in Antarctica.

    4.Well known animals in Antarctica are seals and penguins.
    5.If you want to work in Antarctica you have to take your wisdom teeth and appendix teeth out because there is no dental there and it is too expensive for a dentist to go there .
    6.Antarctica is the most driest desert.
    7.53 million years ago ,palm trees had been growing along the shores.
    8.There used to be a nuclear power station in Antarctica.
    9.Antarctica has a fire department.
    10.About 1150 different species of fungi identified to survive in Antarctica.
